COMPANY MILESTONE

In 1982, the Pelaez-Golez  family established a modern memorial park located at Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City. Such development has been a significant part of the family’s vision of a city of tomorrow. Since then, the Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens has become one of the prestigious and most advanced funeral service-providers in Mindanao.
Divine  Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Inc. (the company) was incorporated under the laws of the Philippines and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 27, 1989, primarily to buy, sell, lease, establish, layout, improve, equip, construct, maintain and operate real estate for burial purposes and to engage in, operate, conduct and maintain the business of mortuary and funeral services.

The Company’s registered business address is Village Arcade, Bulua National Highway, Cagayan de Oro City.

When the management was handed over to the Forest Lake, Inc. in 2005, the Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens expanded and erected the Divine Shepherd Memorial Chapels, which is also located at Bulua.

On October, 2005 was the nativity and it was then on when its operation started by mere focusing on the new venture on the funeral services with embalming and casket retailing. The Memorial Chapels is that of latest model construction. There are about eight (8) memorial rooms with amenities: 5 air-conditioned rooms (two premier rooms, and three deluxe rooms) and three (3) non-airconditioned rooms. It has an advance technology and facilities in embalming and vehicles for pick-up and funeral hearses for burial.

Further, when the demand for a more efficient funeral alternative grew, the Divine Shepherd Memorial Gardens introduced the first crematorium in Northern Mindanao in 2009. The fastest, safest, and most efficient in the world, the crematorium prides of its state-of-the-art technology that comes with a system that eliminates smoke and other emissions.
